Art is everywhere, and colorful visual abstracts naturally occur all around us--in the pool of water as it flows across the city sidewalk, in the textures of moss and plant life that covers a fallen tree in dark woods, in the icy light and shadowy valleys of snow drifts, or in the pearly shimmer on wave-shattered shells.
Each painting is deeply personal. I am a nature lover at heart, and I have always been drawn to seek refuge near water and woods. My impressionist art is based on my travels and explores these themes.
Though some days I may be pensive and others more expressive, every day at the easel is another chance to explore the thought-provoking elements of the world around me.
